Here at Borders Pest Control we are passionate about the countryside and our sport thats why we, and our members are willing to give up our time FREE of charge to landowners willng to allow us to help them with their pest / vermin problems.

Supporting the Coutryside, Wildlife and the Farming Community

Our aim is to provide a free, safe and easy to use service to landowners to locate pest controllers throughout northern England and southern Scotland who are willing to give up their time free of charge! We do not use just anyone as some of our control methods include the use of air rifles, shotguns, and firearms. You, as a responsible landowner, need to know that the person who will be controlling your pest / vermin with such methods has been properly vetted ensuring that they have the relevant licences, insurance, experience and references. You can be assured that at Borders Pest Control we have a stringent application process that members must pass prior to being accepted. We also ensure that you as the landowner are covered legally with various agreements that we can provide between yourself and the pest controller.

Organisations History

Sacha Barac I've been shooting for as long as I can remember I have a deep love affair with the countryside and I am out on my land every opportunity I get. Martin and I saw a major gap with hunters who would be willing give up their spare time doing what they love for the opportunity to hunt pests and vermin. We also are aware that landowners sometimes pay a high price for the very same service that our members offer for free, often using companies who don't share the same passion or commitment. We also feel that this is a great way to get like minded people together who respect and share the same love affair for the countryside.

Martin Baird

I have been shooting for over 20 years now! I was given my first gun at the age of 16 by my Father and taken out on land where he had permission in Northumberland and very quickly fell in love with the sport. Shooting to me is more than simply taking my quarry! It is more like a symbiotic relationship myself and the countryside relying on each other and as such I have a deep respect for the country and the country way of life. The purpose of this site is to offer both like minded people and landowners the opportunity to search for local land and persons to help landowners control pest and vermin free of charge.
